Straight Teeth At Historic Triangle Dental Care
We will discuss our services in a moment. First, we want to explain why we believe we are the place to help you with our cosmetic dentistry.
It starts with Dr. Whyte. If you’ve met him, then you know he wants you to be happy with your smile. He has said one of the most rewarding parts of being a dentist is seeing our patients’ excitement when we have completed a cosmetic or restorative procedure.
Seeing a patient smile because they are so happy with how their teeth look gives all of us a great feeling.
Dr. Whyte grew up in Utah and graduated from Utah State University with honors. He completed his dental education at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he received commendations for clinical expertise in general dentistry and prosthodontics.
Since graduating from VCU and going into practice, he has made continuing education a priority so he can provide the best possible care for all our patients.
He has earned the respect of patients and his peers. He has been named one of the top dentists in Virginia, and he was featured as a up-and-coming new dentist in a magazine by the Virginia Dental Association.
Straight Teeth With Invisalign
Invisalign is a great alternative to traditional orthodontic treatment (braces) for patients with mild and moderate alignment issues. Many people fall into this category. Dr. Whyte will be happy to look at your teeth and let you know if Invisalign could work for you.
Like braces, Invisalign changes your smile by physically moving your teeth into new positions. Braces use brackets and wires to push and pull your teeth. Invisalign uses clear, plastic aligners to push your teeth instead.
You actually receive a series of custom-made aligners as part of your Invisalign treatment. You will wear each aligner for a few weeks at a time, then replace it with the next one. With each switch, you will be pushing your teeth a little closer to being straight.
Invisalign treatments are completed in about 12 months on average, which is about half the time of a typical treatment with braces.
The clear aligners are more discreet than braces. In fact, most people won’t realize you are wearing them.
Invisalign also has some other benefits. They can be removed while you eat, do you don’t have to give up any of your favorite foods and you won’t have to change how you brush or floss your teeth.

Straight Teeth With Veneers
Veneers take a completely different approach to changing your smile.
Invisalign works by moving your teeth to new positions. Veneers are more like a privacy fence so other don’t see the things you don’t want them to see.
Veneers are bonded to the front of your teeth. Both our porcelain and e.max veneers look natural when they are put in place, and they are durable enough to hold up to the normal wear and tear that our teeth experience.
Veneers can be used to address many issues with crooked, crowded, and gapped teeth. They also can make yellow teeth look white again and restore the shape of teeth that are worn down or chipped.
